Unmatched Elegance: The 2024 Lincoln Navigator

Few vehicles on the road can give you the comfort, space, and luxury of the 2024 Lincoln Navigator. It offers a smooth ride, exceptional performance, cutting-edge technology, and all the safety features you could wish for.

Design

The 2024 Navigators give you a choice of two wheelbases: short or long. Both are stunning, inside and out. However, even with the third row in place, cargo room in the long version is absolutely extravagant. Of course, the Navigator has one of the best third-row seating arrangements on the road.

Front and second-row seats are heated and ventilated, while both front seats have 10-way power adjustments with power lumbar. The driver’s seat, power-adjustable pedals, and tilt/telescoping steering column all have memory. In a master stroke of convenience, however, the most amazing standard feature is the Lincoln Embrace. When it detects your key fob, the door handles glow, the running lights turn on, and the side mirrors project welcome mats below the front doors displaying the Lincoln logo.

Performance

All 2024 Navigators have the same twin-turbocharged V-6 engine, but it has 440 hp and goes from zero to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds, so no one is complaining. Ten-speed automatic transmissions with paddle activation and four-wheel drive are also standard throughout the line. The maximum towing capacity is a hefty 8,300 pounds. Though the subscription-based BlueCruise 1.0 hands-free driving assistance system is optional, a three-month free trial is included.

Technology

A Revel audio System with 14 speakers and HD radio is standard in the base Premier trim. SiriusXM with 360L is included. The 12-inch instrument cluster has a customizable LCD and the infotainment system has a dazzling 13.2-inch swipe-capable touchscreen with slick, easy-to-read graphics. There are USB ports for all rows, a wireless charging pad, and an embedded modem that can be used as a hotspot with 4G LTE Wi-Fi.

A few less common features are also included in the Navigator base trim. You’ll get a 110V/150W AC power outlet, Phone As A Key capability, and three years of complimentary Alexa Built-in service.

Safety

Lincoln doesn’t stint on safety features, particularly advanced driver aids. In addition to the usual rearview camera, you also get Reverse Brake and Active Park Assist. Another notable feature you don’t see very often is Evasive Steering Assist. There are still all the ones you want most, including:

  • Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking
  • Blind Spot Information System and Cross-Traffic Alert
  • Lane Keeping System
  • Road Edge Detection
  • Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go
  • Speed Sign Recognition
  • Driver Alert System
